Split’s Head Office is in the heart of Habitat in North Byron, an idyllic balance between work and wellbeing. And although the Split team work across Australia – and we fully support the idea of remote working – we always look forward to getting everyone together in Byron to celebrate milestones and plan for the next big thing!

Four easy steps

How we hire

Step 1 - Say hello.

Apply for a role via email, and don't forget to include a cover letter so we can get to know you beyond your CV.

Step 2 - Lets chat

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an initial conversation, usually via google Hangout. This helps both parties share their goals and aspirations.

Step 3 - Homework

In most cases, we set some tasks to ascertain your capabilities. We know your time is valuable so we're not going to ask you to produce anything that would take you more than 2 hours.

Step 4 - Pair technical planning

For the more technical roles, we will organise a paired technical planning session where we spend a bit of time looking at solving a theoretical issue together.


If everything goes well, and both parties are excited about the role, we work out the nitty gritty and welcome you to the Split Payments family!
